Rates for translations are flexible. The basic rate for translations is CHF 0.15 CHF per word, corresponding to CHF 150 per 1,000 words. This rate includes full proofreading of the translated text so that the delivered document is ready for submission and/or immediate publication.
Rates for editing are also flexible. For editing draft texts in the form of a provisional English translation, the basic rate is a fee of CHF 50 per hour, with provision of a prior estimate based on initial translation quality.
For both translations and editing of draft texts in English, a surcharge of up to 50% will be added for fast-tracking.
Students receive a 25% discount for translations or editorial tasks. Discounted rates are negotiable for large projects and recurrent orders.
Terms of payment: 50% payable on commission of a translation or editorial task; 50% payable on delivery of the completed material.
